How it is offered

  1. Carried into the temple
  2. Offered at Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan
  3. Sent to you with its certificate

The Vrindavan Gift Set brings together three offerings from Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan, for ₹1,650: a 108-bead tulsi mala, a 6 ml sandalwood attar and a 50 gm packet of Braj Raj. Each is carried into the temple and offered to Shri Banke Bihari Ji before it is packed, and the certificate carries the name of the person you are giving it to.

Vrindavan Gift Set

A gift from Vrindavan for someone who keeps a puja at home, or who has always wanted to visit. Everything in the set has already been offered at Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan, and ships within 2 to 3 days.

What's Inside

  • 108-bead tulsi mala: pure tulsi wood, 7 mm beads, strung in Vrindavan. For japa.
  • Sandalwood attar, 6 ml: alcohol-free, distilled at Kannauj by the traditional deg and bhapka method. For wearing, or a drop on the altar.
  • Braj Raj, 50 gm: soil collected from Braj Bhoomi, Vrindavan, with nothing added. For tilak and puja.

What You Save

Offering Bought separately
108-bead tulsi mala ₹600
Sandalwood attar, 6 ml ₹850
Braj Raj, 50 gm ₹400
Total separately ₹1,850
Vrindavan Gift Set ₹1,650

You save ₹200. The comparison is against the three bought separately at their normal prices. Nothing is marked up first.

A Gift With Their Name on It

Enter the name of the person the set is for in Name for the certificate, above Add to cart, and it is printed on the certificate. Leave it blank and we use the name on the order.

Write a gift message and we print it on a card that goes inside the parcel. To send the set straight to them, enter their address as the shipping address at checkout.

Who It Suits

  • A griha pravesh: a mala, attar and Braj Raj for the new home's altar.
  • Parents and elders who keep a daily puja or chant japa.
  • Birthdays and anniversaries, for someone devoted to Shri Krishna.
  • Festivals: Diwali, Janmashtami and the month of Kartik.
  • Someone who cannot travel to Vrindavan, or has not been yet.

How to Use It

Tulsi mala. Hold it in the right hand, draped over the middle finger, and draw each bead towards you with the thumb, one mantra per bead. One round is 108 repetitions. Do not wash it with soap, oil or polish it, or leave it in direct sun. Tulsi darkens naturally with handling, and that is the only finish it needs.

Sandalwood attar. One or two drops is a full application. Dab it on the inner wrists or behind the ears, or put a drop on the lamp, a flower or the altar cloth.

Braj Raj. Apply a small amount on the forehead as tilak during morning prayers, or keep the packet in the puja space.

Questions

Whose name is printed on the certificate?
The name you enter in the Name for the certificate field before adding the set to your cart, usually the person receiving the gift. If you leave the field blank, we print the name on the order. The name is printed as you type it, so check the spelling before you place the order.

Can I send the gift set directly to the person?
Yes. Enter their name and address as the shipping address at checkout, and pay with your own details. If you write a gift message on this page, we print it on a card and put it inside the parcel with the set.

Is the set offered in the recipient's name at a ceremony?
No. Everything in the Vrindavan Gift Set has already been offered at Shri Banke Bihari Temple and ships within 2 to 3 days. To have a tulsi mala or attar offered in someone's name at the next dated ceremony, choose Offered in your name on the tulsi mala or attar page itself.

Is the ₹200 saving real?
Yes. ₹1,850 is exactly what the 108-bead tulsi mala (₹600), the 6 ml sandalwood attar (₹850) and Braj Raj (₹400) cost when bought separately. The Vrindavan Gift Set is ₹1,650, and no price is raised first to make the saving look larger.

Does the gift set ship free?
Yes. At ₹1,650 the set is above the ₹999 free-shipping threshold, so it ships free anywhere in India. It is dispatched within 2 to 3 days of your order. We accept prepaid orders only.

What if something arrives damaged?
Tell us within 7 days of delivery and send a photograph, and we will replace it at no cost. The attar comes in a glass bottle, so it is worth checking the parcel as soon as it arrives.

Buy Them Separately
